Clyde to retain the services of new finance director
CLYDE — Clyde Metropolis Council will meet at 7 p.m. currently, and on the agenda is a resolution to appoint a new metropolis finance director. The past finance director, Craig Davis, resigned in April.
There also is a resolution to authorize the city manager to hire an engineering group, Blanchard Style Associates of Findlay, for a North Church Road advancement job.
A resolution to make city expert services readily available to at 14.8-acre residence owned by John W. and Carolyn R. Rhodes, when it is annexed into the town, also is on the agenda.
Garden plots now out there to neighborhood inhabitants
FREMONT – Sandusky County citizens may indication up for the community yard venture.
The back garden, currently being coordinated by the Ohio Condition University Sandusky County Extension business and the Sandusky/Ottawa Grasp Gardeners in cooperation with the county commissioners and the City of Fremont, is made up of plots and raised beds on county land at the corner of Countryside Generate and Fifth Road, just south of the US Route 6 exit off of the US Route 20 bypass.
To sign up for a plot, submit a $20 deposit that is refundable at season’s stop if all tips have been followed. Master Gardener venture coordinators will contact contributors to assign a plot and include the guidelines and principles for the back garden. Members can plant no matter what they wish, but have to give their possess plants, back garden resources and upkeep to the backyard garden plots.
The town has offered a h2o access so contributors can h2o their plots. Master Gardeners would be glad to support anybody with thoughts on what to mature and how to expand it.

PORT CLINTON — The last ELMS Neighborhood Meal of the spring period will be at 5 p.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, East 2nd Avenue.
